Dee-Ann Arey, LMT owner of Safe Nurturing Touch Massage for an appointment today.
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
My massage is more than the traditional swedish massage, since I use every different modality I have learned thru out my 18 years of training and I strive to work within my client's comfort zone to give them what they need.
I also use at least one of doTERRA's essential oils and hot stones when I see the need, for no extra cost.
With the client lying face down in the most comfortable face cradle ever made, six of the AromaTouch oils are applied to the back raindrop style with a variety of massage technniques. Then two oils are applied to the feet and an extremely relaxing finger walk is performed. I dare you to stay awake. (Unless you are the more expressive type, enjoy as you wish)
Then those last two oils are applied also to the back ending with additional warmth. The last 10 minutes of bliss are allowed to let the oils and heat penetrate. This entire treatment takes 70 minutes.
The client MUST be well hydrated before receiving this special treatment.
All oils used are from doTERRA.
Balance and Lavender oils are applied to the back to help with Stress management
Melaleuca and On Guard oils are next applied the back to help boost the immune system
Aromatouch and Deep Blue oils are the last set applied to the back, to help the body respond to inflammation which occur when body tissues are injured by bacteria, trauma, toxins, heat, or any other cause. Even some foods we eat can cause inflammation.
The final two oils, Wild Orange and Peppermint are applied the feet, to enable the body return to homeostasis and provides a mood boost.
As an extra treat, dip your hands and or feet into warm paraffin to help with deep muscles aches, encourage circulation and further enhance your relaxation of your massage. Plus it softens your skin and just feels oh so good!
Complementary paraffin treatment of feet or hands is available to first time clients.
